interior – mays project

Aretha Mays has an enormous three-story foyer with a curved staircase. Although she had it professionally painted several years ago, the space was still cold and uninviting. Mrs. Mays wanted to warm up the space and balance the room against her large wall of windows.

mays_project 2.jpgAfter a color consultation with her Manor Works representative, Mrs. Mays chose a warm khaki color as the primary color in the foyer. To accent the curved walls, Manor Works suggested a darker mustard color to help define the space. To balance the room, a burgundy red was painted on the upper half of the room. Doing so helped the staircase and chandelier stand out.
