I appreciate your help with the color consultation. I am delighted with our color choices and the implementation of those colors. We truly have a beautiful result and we thank you. I have no reservations about recommending Manor Works to my friends and neighbors.
Past Manor Works clients’, Mike and Joanna Wright, wanted to turn their unfinished basement into a home theater room. After completing the required framing and drywall work themselves, the Wrights turned to Manor Works for help with picking the perfect combination of colors to emulate the style of a commercial movie theater.
During the Wrights color consultation, Manor Works suggested using three shades of a gray-based brown color on the main walls and ceilings. The darkest color went on the screen wall and the “U-shaped” column. The middle color went on the ceiling with the lightest color applied to the trim.
A modern teal green was chosen for the remaining walls to balance out the darkness of the brown walls. Finally, a complementary red was chosen for the inside of the cased openings and a built-in bookcase. The red was the perfect finishing touch to tie the Wrights various movie posters to the space.
